| this video made my day. when i get married we're going to hop in a car with clumsy baggage and unpredictable necessities and drive.
i hope one of his unpredictable necessities is an easel or a guitar or a boat or something. 'cause that'd just be happy.

| Last I heard, I was still alive. But they don't update me very often, so this information could be invalid by now. I am loooving the hints of fall. I always get nostalgic about this time of year, remembering elementary school. Getting up at 7:00. Freezing cold. Donning the new cute school clothes for the first time. Clean white notebook paper. Elmer's glue. A Beka textbooks smell the BEST, just in case you were curious. *sigh* So, I'm finally learning to drive. And I bought my brother's car. And I got a job? (Yes, I've put a question mark after that "statement" every time I've typed it.) It's at a local cafeteria/restaurant. I begin Tuesday afternoon. You can begin praying early if you like; I feel all right at the moment, but I know I'll be a nervous wreck by Tuesday I haven't had a good cup of tea in days. Bryn's flying up for a weekend visit tomorrow evening!!

| My brother and I head out to Arizona in five days!! I'm starting to pack. Packing for seventeen days is rather easier than for just a week or ten days...I'm throwing everything that doesn't need ironing, and a pair of shoes in every colour, into my bags and I figure I can work enough outfits out of that. So, I get to spend over three weeks with Jasmine, and the opportunity to travel with her entire family, and volunteer at two Joni and Friends camps....!!! This should be an insanely fun month I realise that I never divulged my 'secret' from a few posts back. Well, I was this close to going on a 17-day tour of Egypt, Jordan, and Israel in October with an uncle of mine, but things didn't work out. I am disappointed, but not as bitterly so as I would've thought I'd be. Maybe in the background of my mind I'm choosing to be relieved that I just saved $5,000 which I have NO way of making up in the near future Or the reality of going hadn't fully hit me yet. October may yet hold something grand, but at the moment, my plans end in mid-August. P.S. For those involved/interested, I just received our Story back in the mail Round three - DING!! | | |

| I am returned from an awesome week being big sister at camp!! Great people, heartbreaking stories, fun activities, adorable kids, addicting songs......you should definitely come next year Dad and I leave at 6:00 tomorrow morning for a wedding in Kentucky, where we'll see people I used to practically live with but haven't seen in years. Life's weird. I'm looking forward to tomorrow =) Then I think I'm home for a couple weeks.
